Junior High Math
Welcome to Miss Carson’s math page! When you leave class this year, you will have many mathematical concepts which will help you on to the next mathematical level. This year’s math classes include Pre-Algebra, Algebra A, an accelerated Algebra A, Algebra 1… and we added Geometry. I am preparing you for high school-based programs, which should start you in Algebra 1 or higher your freshmen year.
In addition to math, I teach Art and Drama electives. I am also avialable to help after school at the Homework club three days per week.
My favorite Bible verse is Jer. 33:3 - “Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know.”
A Biblical principal I like for math is, “Math is a reflection of God”.
