Spiritual Life
Friday is Chapel Day at Pacific Christian School. Each week during our Elementary Chapel valuable Bible Truths are learned that help each one of us grow spiritually. The Chapel Service consists of class awards, lively fun music, missions offering, memory verse and a special presentation of the Gospel on their level. We feel that student participation is important, therefore, each classroom has the opportunity to present a part of the Theme in their way. The Theme for the 2010/2011 school year is “What’cha Think’n?” The Bible verse is Philippians 4:8: “Finally brothers, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable – if anything is excellent or praiseworthy – think about such things.” We need to watch what we are thinking because it determines our actions. Thanks to Phil Young, Children’s Pastor at Pacific Christian Center, for his leadership in the Elementary Chapel. Thank you, also, to the staff, teachers and students who work together to make this a time that the children look forward to each week.
Each week during our chapel we learn valuable Bible truths that help us grow spiritually. Students have enjoyed Pastoral staff participation. The 6th-8th grade students attend Jr High Chapel. Pastor Jeff Seeley coordinates this chapel, including the development of a student Worship team that leads the singing. We have a Spiritual Emphasis week each year.
